Our summer camp program offers a wide range of educational and fun-filling activities that will make this summer unforgettable for your little camper. Our program includes the following,
Introduction to Robotics
- Introduction to Coding: We use different tools like Botley for introducing children to the basics of coding. This includes programming Botley to move and complete tasks, children can learn about concepts such as sequencing, loops, and conditional statements.
- Cooperative Learning: Botley can also be used as a tool for cooperative learning. By working in pairs or small groups, children can practice communicating and problem-solving together as they program the robot to complete various challenges.
- Cross-Curricular Connections: Botley's activity set includes a variety of challenges that can be used to reinforce concepts in other subject areas, such as math and science. For example, children can program Botley to complete a maze or navigate an obstacle course, which can help reinforce spatial reasoning skills.
STEM Activities
Our STEAM activities are designed to encourage children to think outside the box and develop problem-solving skills. By working with blocks, Legos, and other materials, children can experiment with different designs and learn about basic engineering principles. Art activities also help children to develop their creativity, which can be applied to other areas of their lives.
Chess
Our chess program is designed to introduce to the game and promote strategic thinking while having fun. They will learn the basics of the game and can compete with their peers. Chess is a game that challenges children to think ahead, strategize, and anticipate their opponent’s moves. It also teaches good sportsmanship and resilience in the face of setbacks.
